Topological Leptogenesis via Anomaly-Canceling Topological Order in Cosmology

A mechanism for generating the cosmic lepton asymmetry in which a hidden gapped topological-order sector, described at low energy by a topological quantum field theory with long-range entanglement, cancels the Standard Model's mixed baryon-minus-lepton gauge-gravitational anomaly by symmetry extension. This keeps a discrete Z4 version of B-L exact and dynamically gaugeable without introducing sterile right-handed neutrinos, and the sector's fractionalized anyon and extended-defect excitations decay into Standard Model particles, supplying a topological-quantum-matter dark-matter candidate.
