Topological Naming Problem

Downstream features hold references to faces and edges by internally generated names, and an upstream edit that changes topology (splitting, merging, or renumbering entities) invalidates those names, breaking sketches, fillets, and mates that pointed at them. Mitigations are referencing datums and sketch geometry instead of solid topology, and kernel-level persistent-naming schemes that match entities across regenerations.
