Wave (Ultralight) Dark Matter
Dark matter modelled as an extremely light bosonic field whose astronomically large de Broglie wavelength makes it behave as a coherent classical wave on galactic scales, so that its density is described by a wavefunction obeying the Schroedinger-Poisson equations rather than by point particles.
